Dark Circle Cream

For anyone suffering from dark circles under the eyes, the appearance of seeming tired, stressed or ill can be very upsetting. Fortunately, because this is such a prevalent condition, many cosmetic manufacturers include under eye creams or serums in their product lines, to help remedy the problem.

Under eye dark circle creams vastly range in price and it is always wise to do some research before buying. Simply because a brand is expensive or well-known does not mean it is going to be the best and it must be determined exactly what is causing the dark circles in the first place. Obviously, if the condition is temporary, for instance due to lack of sleep, it would be more sensible to use a cosmetic under eye concealer that will use light refracting pigments to bounce light off the skin, diminishing the appearance of the circles.

If the problem of under eye darkness is more severe and permanent, it is likely due to blood capillary damage. The under eye skin is so delicate, being much thinner than elsewhere on the face, and must always be treated gently to avoid irritation and broken blood vessels. A good dark circle cream will contain certain ingredients such as Hesperidin that are able to penetrate the skin and help constrict the capillaries, thus lightening the whole under eye area. Another essential ingredient in any eye cream is vitamin C to strengthen and rejuvenate the skin and vitamin K that has the ability to heal bruising. Most people will find that daily use of a good dark circle cream, combined with rest, adequate hydration and an anti-oxidant rich diet will work wonders.
